I use Faux Mink lashes, which are ethically manufactured. They achieve a beautiful natural look and lasting curl. All the lash extensions and products I use are certified vegan and cruelty-free, and whenever possible I try to buy “Made in Australia” supplies.
It depends on your natural lash shed cycle and how closely you stick to the aftercare routine.
We naturally shed 4-10 lashes from each eye in 2 weeks. The eyelash extensions will last as long as the cycle of your natural lashes.
I recommend getting a refill every 3-4 weeks to keep them looking beautiful and full.
For some styles chosen, I recommend getting a refill every 10 days to 2 weeks to maintain the fullness and a dramatic look.
The application of premium quality individual faux mink lashes placed one by one directly onto your natural lashes creates the look you are after. The lashes are waterproof and available in different lengths and curls to create the desired effect. There is NO direct skin contact. The lashes will make a difference to the way you look and feel about yourself, also saving you valuable time applying makeup, and you will never have to use mascara again!
The lashes add fullness and will open up your eyes. Eyelash extensions can give you a completely natural (though enhanced) look, or something that makes you stand out from the crowd; the choice is entirely up to you, and of course, I will guide you to choose what best suits you.
The process is painless. I use top-of-the-line products, and I have been trained by a multi awards Lash technician, so I use the best available techniques to make the application experience painless and safe.
No, when professionally applied and maintained, they will not damage your natural lashes. They will fall out with your natural lash cycle. Do not attempt to pull out the lashes yourself as this could cause damage to your natural lashes. Always have them removed by a professional lash artist. I recommend wearing eyelash extensions up to 30% length of your natural lashes; this will ensure you have sustainable eyelash extensions without causing ANY damage to your natural lashes.
It depends on which service you choose; it can take from 1.30-3hrs, as I will need to attach the extensions strand by strand.
I will cover single lashes on each one of your natural eyelashes. This is a very meticulous procedure, and I take the time to create the most natural look possible.
For brow services, lash tint and lash lift, allow a minimum of 45 min per appointment.
You will be in a relaxing and cosy ambiance, so take this time to pamper yourself.
I pride myself on quality, and in creating a peaceful environment for my clients so that the time spent is a little longer than an average beauty appointment. During your appointment, you will experience a welcome routine before any services I provide.
- Do not get lashes wet for 4 hours
- Avoid hot steam or sauna for 2 days following your appointment
- Avoid running water directly on your lashes
- Do not rub your eyes
- Use water-based eye makeup remover
- Do not perm your lashes
- Do not pull on your lashes (this may cause your natural lashes to come out prematurely)
I do not recommend wearing mascara as it reduces the life of your eyelash extensions.
Face makeup is okay, but please do not wear any eye makeup or mascara. The reason for this is that your lashes need to be completely dry and in their natural state for the best possible results. If you come straight from work, please arrive 15 min before your appointment and allow time to remove your eye makeup. We can provide you with specific makeup remover products, or you may use your own (oil-free).
Yes, you can get your lashes tinted before getting eyelash extensions, but not after the treatment if you still have lashes on. It is recommended, but not essential, to have your lashes tinted if you have very light, pale lashes, as this will darken the roots and blend in with the lash extension.
No, I’m afraid not. Unfortunately, the eyelash treatments I provide cannot be carried out if you have:
- Conjunctivitis (within the last month)
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Dry eye syndrome
- Glaucoma, Cataract
